On Mondays, the Education Department has been doing maintenance at our
school gardens. This December before it got too cold, we worked at Harriet Tubman School Garden.
We
harvested sweet potatoes- it was Shahira's first time harvesting them.
We also harvested some gorgeous parsley from our herb bed.
We did some heavy lifting too, moving rocks to form a border in part of the garden! Check out the before and after pictures.
